About Thornelle

Thornelle helps you find your next romantasy or dark romance by the things that actually decide whether you'll love it: the tropes, how spicy it is, and what's inside. Every book has its tropes, a spice level from one to five and its content warnings on one page, with read-alike lists, series reading orders and a quiz to point you somewhere new.

Books are chosen by hand. A "Books like" list holds eight to twelve books with the same pull as the one you loved, best match first, and no book is recommended on more than three lists, so the lists stay worth reading. Content warnings come from the author's own note wherever there is one, with reader-reported lists added under their own heading, and every list links to its source. Descriptions are written for Thornelle, never copied from a blurb.
